About Lombok,
it is a big island, near by Bali, and super close to Gili island,
You can directly go to Gili island by boat near Sheraton.
It not just have beach, also waterfall, temples, monkeys, even advance advanture ,
I kept a magazine from Lombok, will bring next time.
This is a restaurant next to the waterfall entrance, ppl jump into it, before food arrives.
This is way of going to another waterfall.
wear flip flops is fine, local guide go with bare foot, you will need to walk on some stones, or cross a small river.
many ppl jump in to swim or shoot some videos/photos with go pro
this island is go pro friendly,,,,
Its big swimming area, the camera couldn't shot the complete area.
I suggest take a local guide , the road isn't very easy to walk and he knows a secret way to come back, nice and friendly.
towel from hotel. even if you don't want to go into water, you will be splashed on some water. and water feels quite cold.
They have many many beautiful sunset spot, I will show you another one. later.
Go to Gili island, will look like this on boat.
the stillness… in here, time feels very different,
water, wave, I don't know if ppl will feel the same.
but it's very easy to forget about : like, "Oh, this should be arrive in 30 minutes." that kind of thing.

Gili island is backpacker and surfer's heaven? ? or diving? they have diving class.
mostly ppl take a boat come from Bali, which will be quite far away (with a fast speed boat )
We took a traditntal boat, much more fun.
Also, ppl like to book a hotel to rest only at Gili..
which will be nice, but the Muslim's pray all the time should be aware.
I respect their religion, but Its annoying you go to bathroom in the middle of the night and can never sleep anymore, ON HOLIDAY. to me..

So Sheraton, is very easy, everything is prepared for you.
then we went to Bali, and come back, try Kuta, area. which
has sooooo much more beaches and beautiful and nobody, and even more yummy food, with like 200rmb in total for 2person. if you go to the best best restaurant.
Local food are great! if you like spicy, they have a fresh chili called "samba olak",
soooo many species / sea creatures, and coral, and big big big 🐢 turtle.!! really big ,usually they are in a aquarium.
but sunblock , is the quite expensive, stand out on their supermarket. please bring as much as you can and apply a thick layer for here.
the sun here is very very strong.
a normal famous beach at Kuta on our first day,
Kuki went to jogging around here in the early morning, while I was sleep like a baby recover from the pray in the middle of the night.
surfer a lot. many ppl come to this island for surfing
the beach which is most famous and close, having a bid sand like stone, a bit hard to walk to me.
but hidden beaches all have super fine sand.
Novotel decorate their room very vey nice, although it looks nothing fancy at all.
they try to blend to their ancient architecture style. they have a very long history, the old ppl here are "SASAK"
don't go to SASAK village, touristy.nothing real, they build that for just for tourists.
Novotel also have yoga for free. but Sheraton has really really good SPA,
Check on google map, you will see many beaches.
like this one has fine sand, and 2 ppl here is like many?
a spot to watch sun set,
if you drive a scooter, and look like a tourist, there will have some spot ppl charge you fee for parking,
which is not so expensive and usually they watch for you. so will not get lost, but I feel the sort they charge fee is always smart.
like to climb here, there lives a family, price was like 10rmb for parking? or 5RMB.

I have to say, food in Kuta, really good. this is a moroccan food restaurant.
the owner made 3 restaurant around. you can find them on tripadvisor .
luckily we went to sengigi area (sheraton) and Kuta (Novotel) both,
both have good restaurant, but Kuta's restaurant definitely stand out a bit more.
sengigi can find local tast but well cooked with higher standard.
Kuta, have more western flavor, for local food— better just try in Novotel.

this one called, smile coffee or happy coffee.
we drove all the way till the end.
we found the others, are a bit sneaky ppl? like doing for business.
but this smile coffee sounds nice, and chair comfy, with a "SASAK" umbrella
owner play music in the restaurant with his friends.
no one is here,
time, can't feel the time.
our last day of staying, fruit juice, maybe 15rmb? but fresh. they use everything fresh. cuz too many?
they don't have to put anything more for extra tase ,you try it, you will know what I am saying.
oh, BTW, they have famous natural honey. don't forget to buy some from supermarket. I bought a small bottle.
Its hard to describe why it is good. its not so sweat.
I ate honey when back home to heal dry on throat,
I can feel the moist of heal from honey water.which normally I don't feel it so quick,
This is what I mean, as it is rainforest area, guess it can look way nicer when rain season comes. should have even more green.
we went there at October. around 25 Sep-6 Oct. Sengigi feels often come a bit rain, Kuta mostly dry and hot.
we happen drove in heavy rain once, which we just rest like 10 min. kept driving. don't go busy time, but this island isn't busy,
especially, Kuta, un-developed, drive to kuta will have bumpy road. many backpackers, and surfers,
Sengigi much more nicer, guess should be "rich"ppl's area? but not so many beach.
I would suggest take the Oct holiday for it. cuz it is not so busy and just a little bit rain.
also not so many tourists,
this beach area, seems a bit hard to reach, so no one is here.
this island is huge. you can enjoy here for weeks and weeks,

He hurt his leg when he was hiking, that was the time when he was chasing money and forget about anything else.
We had a happy chat, we both agree we come the this world with nothing, we can not take anything physical with us.
the only thing with us is our experience, is how we learn from our life. etc etc,
its much bigger this beach than the lenses….
Kuta has a lot more beaches, even a pink beach, ppl say when sun reflects on the sand it will look pink
a little island, we didn't have that much time for that this time, maybe next time.
Its a big big big island, with sooo many places to see so much to explore,
they plan to build lots of lots of fancy resort, even club med, and a motorbike race track. disneyland etc etc,
so guess in the future this place will be another famous touristy island.
better go earlier before it's developed.
